It's Becoming Abundantly Clear These 8 Disney World Attractions Need Some TLC.

It’s not totally surprising when we see some of Disney World’s most popular attractions temporarily close.

That’s because a lot of these rides have extremely advanced technology, and with that comes fail-safes that are in place to keep everyone safe. That means that if one thing SLIGHTLY starts to go wrong or something slips the slightest bit out of place, it could trigger a stop to ensure nothing more happens and everyone stays safe. However, yesterday in Disney World we noticed the total opposite — all the smaller, simpler attractions were STRUGGLING.

Here’s a full look at the Disney World wait times on August 2nd, 2024.

Magic Kingdom

Seven Dwarfs Mine Train jumped to a 90-minute wait and stayed relatively high all day, but that didn’t totally surprise us since it was closed when the ride opened. Not only that, but FOUR other rides closed throughout the day, with the poor PeopleMover having one of the worst days we’ve seen in a while.

Epcot

Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure had the highest wait of 70 minutes, and overall wait times were higher than we’ve seen recently. While that’s a bit of a bummer because it means you’ll wait longer in line, we are glad people aren’t ignoring EPCOT anymore! (But also, what the heck happened to Journey Into Imagination and Mission: SPACE?)

Flight of Passage had the highest wait of 95 minutes, which, again, was not surprising. What WAS surprising though was that tons of the smaller rides in the park had LOTS of trouble, especially towards the end of the day. What is going on?

Disney’s Hollywood Studios

Tell you what, since Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster has reopened, it has really been giving these other rides a run for their money! Yesterday it had the highest wait of 90 minutes and stayed in that top spot for a majority of the day, which is pretty impressive.
