Time flies when you’re having fun, so it’s no wonder that another fun-filled week has zoomed by here in Disney World!
Per usual, we’ve been out eating our way around the parks, uncovering hidden details, and checking out some sweet merch! Now let’s look back at the average wait times we spotted in Disney World over this past week, which includes the reigning champ of long ride queues: the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train in Magic Kingdom!
Magic Kingdom
Unsurprisingly, now that the holidays are a distant memory, late January tends to be a quieter time in Magic Kingdom. This makes it easier than usual to snag a quick seat on some of the park’s most popular attractions, like Splash Mountain and Haunted Mansion.
With some rainy weather and slightly chillier temps, it’s no surprise that indoor attractions like “it’s a small world” and Pirates of the Caribbean saw steady wait times, but no matter the forecast, it seems there’s always plenty of time for Seven Dwarfs Mine Train!

The lines for slow-moving indoor rides like Gran Fiesta Tour and Living with the Land were blink-and-you’ll-miss-it fast this week, with average waits under 10 minutes. Even Frozen Ever After was surprisingly accessible! At one point during the week, we were able to practically walk right on.
Test Track still tracks, though, with an average wait time nearing an hour.

Disney’s Animal Kingdom
In a shocking turn of events, Flight of Passage was not the longest wait time in Pandora this week! It would seem that across all the parks, there’s been a shift towards slow indoor water rides, with Na’vi River Journey taking the prize in Animal Kingdom.
In general, the park had all kinds of unexpected shakeups this week, with Dinosaur more in-demand than Expedition Everest, and It’s Tough to Be a Bug mere minutes behind Kilimanjaro Safaris.
