Why Do People Still Wait HOURS in This HOT Disney World Line?

Summer can be an interesting time in Disney World, but this year, things are a little different.

Just a few days ago, Disney had a MASSIVE day, unveiling all the new additions for Cool KIDS’ SUMMER, the opening of Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets and Bluey’s Wild World, and so much more. How is that affecting the parks, you ask? Well, in Disney’s Hollywood Studios, it looks like it doesn’t matter that there are new attractions, because this ONE ride is still getting all the attention.

Magic Kingdom

Storms in the area certainly affected the wait times for the day, but TRON Lightcycle / Run still came out on top with a 110 minute wait at the very end of the day. We are concerned to see that Space Mountain was closed for the first three hours of the day, as it didn’t have anything to do with weather.

Epcot

Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind started off strong with a 120 minute wait, and try as hard as it did, Test Track just wasn’t able to get above it, even when it closed two times throughout the day. If we were giving out awards, Test Track would certainly be the most dramatic ride in this park by far. We love it, but WHY does it close so much?

Avatar Flight of Passage hit a 75 minute wait, which isn’t too bad for summer, but the outdoor portion of that ride can be brutal in the sun, so keep that in mind. While the storms did cause temporary closures for Kali River Rapids and Expedition Everest, it didn’t affect wait times too much, because from the looks of it, everyone basically decided to leave the park after the storm.
