Dead Men Tell No Tales…Except When They’re In a Special ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ Experience

One of the most popular rides in Disney World and Disneyland has to be Pirates of the Caribbean, even more so after the Pirates of the Caribbean movies landed in theaters.

Well, if you love the Pirates of the Caribbean movies and just can’t get enough of Captain Jack Sparrow, Elizabeth Swan, and Will Turner, a new special interactive experience is coming to the U.K. soon that will let you live out your pirate dreams.

According to Variety, Secret Cinema and Today Tix will bring Disney’s Pirates of the Caribbean: The Immersive Adventure to London’s Greenwich Peninsula in February 2027 for an initial 10-week run. The experience will bring Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl to life with interactive sets, live theatrical performances, music, stunts, and more. Tickets will go on sale on June 1st.

Merritt Baer, artistic director of Secret Cinema and co-founder of TodayTix, said, “Get ready for high jinks on the high seas! With epic aerial stunts, fearless swordfights and a cast of your favorite swashbuckling pirates, where better to invite audiences than raucous Tortuga and aboard the Black Pearl for the ultimate cinematic adventure: Disney’s Pirates of the Caribbean.”

Secret Cinema and TodayTix worked with Disney Theatrical to create the new experience. Disney is looking forward to finding “bold new ways to expand our storytelling beyond the proscenium and into immersive, shared experiences.” This experience will give fans a new way to interact with the story of Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black “in a live experience that is communal, cinematic, and unmistakably Disney.”
