Don’t Pay To Ride This Popular Disney World Ride, Do THIS Instead

When should you pay to ride attractions in Disney World?

Well, the answer is, “It depends.” As you may know, paying for Lightning Lane Multi Pass and Lightning Lane Single Pass allows you to skip the standby lines at rides in Disney World. But sometimes, you just might not need it. For example, the highly popular Flight of Passage in Disney’s Animal Kingdom offers Lightning Lane Single Pass, but before you pay for that, we’ve got something you should do instead.​

Flight of Passage has some of the highest wait times in Disney World. If you get in the standby line for this ride, you’re probably going to be waiting for at least an hour or longer, even on a slow day. This might make Lightning Lane Single Pass seem like a good option for this ride, so you can skip that longer line.

But, here’s the thing. If you wait until the end of the day, just before the park closes, you will see much shorter wait times for almost all rides in Animal Kingdom, including Flight of Passage. Just yesterday, the wait time just before the park closed was just 30 minutes.  This is a great option if you really don’t want to spend an additional amount of money for the Lightning Lane.

So the best strategy to avoid paying extra, but still get a relatively short wait time, is to wait it out and ride just before the park closes.
