Ah, These Are The Holiday Wait Times We’ve Been Waiting For in Disney World

We’re less than FIVE days away from Christmas, and do you know what that means? Well, it means many things, but in the world of Disney, it means that wait times are about to get wild.

We’ve seen high wait times this season, don’t get us wrong, but based on what we’re seeing now, it looks like waits are about to bump up even more as we head into actual Christmas week. Take a look at yesterday’s wait times and see what we mean!

Let’s take a look at the wait times for Saturday, December 20th!

Magic Kingdom

TRON Lightcycle / Run hit a 100-minute wait two hours before the end of the park day, but what really blew our minds was that closer to the middle of the day, TRON, Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, AND Seven Dwarfs Mine Train were all at 80-minute waits. Pirates of the Caribbean did have a little trouble towards the end of the day, and three other attractions closed for one hour, but overall, it was a good day for Magic Kingdom.

Flight of Passage continues to confuse us with its wait time tracking, because in a complete opposite to Friday’s trend, where riding at the beginning of the day was best, yesterday it was NOT a good idea to ride Flight of Passage earlier on in the day, because it was at a 110 minute wait (though rope drop was the lowest wait time at 45 minutes). Kali River Rapids also had an awful day, closing three hours throughout the day, even though it had just come out of a refurbishment.

Tower of Terror ran into some intense issues again yesterday, resulting in a 95-minute wait (right before dropping back down to 35 minutes the next hour). We’ve said it before, and we’ll say it again — if you notice this ride’s wait time SHOOT up out of nowhere, PLEASE don’t choose that time to get in line!
