The Most Popular Ride in EPCOT Just Reported a 5-Hour (!!!) Closure. What Happened Next?

Spring break crowds have started to descend on Disney World, and we’re preparing ourselves to see wait times increase drastically!

So far, we’ve seen a gradual increase in wait times as spring break season picks up, but we expect the waits to get even higher as we get closer to Easter. Our first indication it’s busier than normal right now? THREE Hollywood Studios rides had the SAME highest wait time of 90 minutes throughout the day. Oh, and Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind was closed for HOURS, resulting in wait time chaos when it reopened.

Below is a full list of wait times in Disney World on March 14th, 2025.

Magic Kingdom

TRON Lightcycle / Run had the highest wait time at the start of the day, at 105 minutes. Yikes! Additionally, Jungle Cruise, Carousel of Progress, Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, and Pirates of the Caribbean all had issues throughout the day, but the crown goes to Carousel of Progress. We’re not sure what happened there, but it was down for MULTIPLE hours in the middle of the day.

Epcot

EPCOT had a ROUGH day. While Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind had the highest wait of 180 minutes, that was after being CLOSED for the first FIVE hours of the day! Frozen Ever After also had closure issues for an hour later in the day.

Flight of Passage hit a 120-minute wait, which is expected for this busier time of year, but what really had us curious was that Kali River Rapids closed unexpectedly two different times throughout the day. It JUST came out of a months-long refurbishment — what’s going on, Kali?

THREE rides tied for the longest wait time in this park, which means it was a busy day in the park. Slinky Dog Dash, Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster, AND Toy Story Mania all had 90-minute waits multiple times throughout the day! Thankfully, this park didn’t struggle with ride closures, though Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway was closed at the start of the morning.
