Have you ever been to Disney World and hoped to ride your favorite attraction, but it seemed like every time you checked the wait time on the My Disney Experience app, it was closed?
Well, one ride had a day like that recently in Disney World, and it was actually down for multiple consecutive hours during the day.
That ride was Frozen Ever After in EPCOT, the attraction where guests can ride through the story of Anna and Elsa from the movie Frozen. Except for SEVEN HOURS yesterday, no one had an opportunity to ride it because it was closed.
Now, these things happen in Disney World. Sometimes rides just have technical issues that can’t be fixed quickly. When that happens, it’s always a good idea to have a backup plan. For Frozen fans, that might mean skipping the ride and opting to meet Anna and Elsa in the Norway Pavilion instead. For guests that just want a water ride, there’s always Living with the Land and Gran Fiesta Tour with the Three Caballeros.
However, we recommend keeping an eye on wait times in the My Disney Experience app to find out when a ride has reopened. If you catch the reopening quickly, you could end up with just a short wait time.
