Why Genie+ Might Still Be A Good Deal in Disney World

Although the past few months have felt slower in Disney World, October seems to be picking up steam — we’re seeing more crowds in the parks these days.

This busy season is also reflected in attraction wait times, with the most popular rides having multi-hour waits. So what should you do right now to avoid long standby lines?

Yesterday, we told you about how Genie+ was getting a flexible rate, with the price dependent on the day of your park visit. That included a minimum rate that’s still $5 higher than what Genie+ previously cost. So you might be wondering if Genie+ is still worth it?

The answer just might be “yes,” especially if you believe that time is money.  Genie+ will cut down these long wait downs A LOT, giving you more time to do more things in the parks, giving you more bang for your buck. However, if you really can’t stomach the additional cost of Genie+ (it did show its first increase to $20 today) you could just skip the most popular rides and hit up those that generally always have lower wait times.
