This Classic Disney World Ride Was STRUGGLING Yesterday

It’s never fun when you get to Disney World and your favorite ride, or a ride you’ve been really wanting to ride, is closed, but it happens.

Sometimes, rides close because of the weather. Many times, rides close due to technical issues. Well, one classic Disney World ride, “it’s a small world,” was closed yesterday for most of the morning, although it’s unclear exactly why.

If you rope dropped Magic Kingdom yesterday, you might have been surprised to make your way to Fantasyland to see that “it’s a small world” was closed. So if you had plans to rope drop the ride, you were out of luck. However, the ride stayed closed until noon, so it was really struggling yesterday. The good news is that it did reopen after that and stayed open throughout the rest of the day.

So what should you do if that happens to you? Well, if a ride you really want to ride is closed, you’ll want ot keep a careful eye on the My Disney Experience app. Then you’ll be able to see when the ride reopens, and if you catch it fast enough, you can get in line for the ride just after it reopens and potentially face a shorter standby wait.

If a ride remains closed throughout the day, there isn’t much you can do except to enjoy all the other rides in the park and just keep checking the app.
