NEVER Underestimate The Power of Baby Animals in Disney World…Here's Why!

We’re accustomed to seeing some high wait times in Disney World around spring break, but something happened this past week that may have caused a spike in popularity at one attraction. Coincidence? We think not!

Pandora – The World of Avatar at Disney’s Animal Kingdom

Typically, you’ll find that Flight of Passage holds the top spot in terms of the highest wait time in Disney’s Animal Kingdom, but that all changed thanks to one new addition!

Before we get into our Animal Kingdom theory, let’s take a look at the full list of wait times in Disney World on April 10th, 2025.

Magic Kingdom

TRON Lightcycle / Run hit a 105-minute wait not once, not twice, but FOUR times throughout the day! Thankfully, there weren’t too many ride closures throughout the day, but we did see Prince Charming’s Regal Carrousel, Pirates of the Caribbean, and TRON all go down throughout the day.

Epcot

Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind reached a 95-minute wait, which isn’t nearly as terrible as we’ve seen recently, but Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure, Frozen Ever After, and Journey Into Imagination all had issues during the day.

Disney’s Animal Kingdom

While Flight of Passage reached a 90-minute wait, what really shocked us was that Kilimanjaro Safaris reached a whopping 85-minute wait! That’s the longest we’ve seen it in a WHILE, and we have a strong feeling it could be because of the new baby giraffe you can see on the savanna! Between this new giraffe addition and the baby tiger, Bakso, we’ve seen some passionate animal fans in Disney World recently. Do NOT underestimate the power of a baby animal!

Disney’s Hollywood Studios

Rise of the Resistance beat out Slinky Dog Dash for the longest wait of the day at 115 minutes, which we feel was related to the fact that it had issues for HOURS throughout the day. Tower of Terror also had a few issues, resulting in a longer wait time than normal as well.
