Summer is a great time to go to Walt Disney World, but high temperatures sometimes keep guests away. To compensate, Disney is offering deep discounts on rooms across the Resort with its new Sun & Fun Promotion!

This is a pretty complicated multi-tier promotion, so AllEars is here to help you make sense of it. 

Disney hasn’t made this explicit on their website, but there are actually three tiers of this promotion: a general tier for all guests, a Florida Resident promotion, and one for Annual Passholders.

All three tiers apply to the same Resorts and don’t include theme park admission.  You’ll need to buy tickets separately, and this deal isn’t compatible with other promotions.

The promotions run for almost the same dates; the lowest tier promotion has a shorter booking window but a longer window of available dates. Why? Mysterious Disney Reasons.

The Tier 1 (General Promotion) allows bookings until February 26 for dates from April 1 through September 12. 

Tier 2 (Florida Residents) and Tier 3 (Annual Passholders) allow bookings until July 9 for dates from April 1 through July 9.

Length of stay requirements may vary, and additional charges may be accrued if more than two adults are staying in a single room. Advanced bookings are needed to take advantage of this promotion. Also, the offer does not include campsites, three-bedroom villas, Cabins at Copper Creek Villas & Cabins at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge and Bungalows at Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows. (Note that Disney can change any and all of these stipulations at any time.)
