Look Out! MAJOR runDisney Race Crowds Are Taking Over Disney World Right Now

It’s officially another runDisney race weekend in Disney World, and do you know what that means? CROWDS!

This is Disney World’s second runDisney race so far this year, and there are plenty more to come throughout the year, so if you find that you’re traveling during a time of year that coincides with a race weekend, you’ll want to pack your patience! But how was the start of the race weekend actually looking for attractions? Well, let’s just say there were over 100 minute waits everywhere!

Here’s a full look at the Disney World wait times on February 21st, 2025.

Magic Kingdom

TRON Lightcycle / Run jumped up to 115 minute wait, which doesn’t surprise us since it’s a runDisney race weekend, however, what surprised us more was that this park struggled AGAIN with ride closures! Pirates of the Caribbean, The Many Adventures of Winnie The Pooh, Prince Charming’s Regal Carrousel, “it’s a small world,” TRON Lightcycle / Run, Magic Carpets of Aladdin, and Peter Pan’s Flight all went down throughout the day.

Epcot

Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure jumped up to a 120-minute wait later in the day and did have an issue with a closure during the day, as did Spaceship Earth. Otherwise, EPCOT had a pretty great day!

Disney’s Hollywood Studios

Slinky Dog Dash was closed for the first two hours of the morning, which meant that Rise of the Resistance jumped up to have the highest wait time of 125 minutes! However, after Slinky Dog Dash came back up, it quickly took the top spot for the majority of the day. Rise of the Resistance was the only other attraction to have closure issues throughout the day.
