January was a ROUGH month when it came to Disney World rides closing frequently.
There was no specific reason for all the closures, to be honest, and we started joking that maybe January was cursing the rides with bad mojo. As it turns out, we may have been right on the money without realizing it because the first day of February was yesterday, and rides are doing WAY better.
Here’s a full look at the Disney World wait times on February 1st, 2025.
Magic Kingdom
TRON Lightcycle / Run hit the highest wait of the day, 95 minutes, during the LAST hour of the park day, which was very interesting! Additionally, multiple rides reported short closures (Pirates of the Caribbean, Space Mountain, The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, and Prince Charming Regal Carrousel). However, that number is an improvement from the day prior.

We were at Epcot and Hollywood Studios on Feb 1st and Guardians of the Galaxy was down for several hours. Rock n Roller coaster didn’t open til around 4pm. It was down most of the day. The stand by line was 115 minutes when it finally opened and we waited almost 2 hours in line.
