Disney World’s Pirates of the Caribbean Is Struggling…Again

Disney World is magical, but it’s far from perfect. Sometimes things happen.

For example, those random Florida thunderstorms can pop up out of nowhere and get you drenched, as well as close a lot of rides. Sometimes rides gets closed for routine maintenance. Other times, rides get closed for technical issues or similar reasons. Well, if you visited Disney World yesterday, Pirates of the Caribbean in Magic Kingdom was closed…a lot.​

So what should you do if your favorite ride in Disney World is closed? Well, the only thing you really can do is keep an eye on the My Disney Experience app and keep checking to see when the ride reopens. Most rides do reopen later in the day.

With that being said, though, Pirates of the Caribbean was closed from 2 to 3 PM yesterday and then closed from 5 PM to the end of the day. So if you were waiting until later in the day to ride it, you would have been out of luck. There’s really not much you can do in that situation.
