Are we in the slow season in Disney World?
You may think that Disney World will be empty since we’re in between holiday breaks. Could it really be AS busy as Thanksgiving or Christmas break? Well, maybe not, but it’s still not empty in the theme parks!
Many people want to visit Disney World during the holiday season, and quite a few will choose this early December time to stop by the parks, thinking that they’re beating the rush of the holiday season crowds. While you will definitely find that the parks are less busy than they are during the peak days, they’re certainly not empty this time of year!
Looking at the wait times from Monday, December 9th, many rides were still boasting hour-plus wait times throughout the day. Flight of Passage even hit a peak time of 110 minutes — that’s triple digits! So if you’re visiting in the next few days, it might be a good idea to invest in Lightning Lanes to keep you from spending your whole vacation waiting in line.
The wait times will likely only continue to grow from here and won’t drop down until later in January, so good luck to all those traveling soon! For now, let’s see what things look like in the parks this week.
