Disney World is full of multiple different attractions, and while some of them are pretty advanced and we’re not surprised to see them go down every now and then, there are a few others that just have us…confused.
Here’s the thing: we’re not asking for MORE closures in Disney World. That’s the last thing we want, but when a ride is having as many issues as this one, and it’s been going on for MONTHS, we can only wonder just how much longer it’ll hold on before it conks out completely, and then we’re without it for months and months.
Let’s take a look at wait times from Monday, April 20th!
Magic Kingdom
TRON Lightcycle / Run, interestingly enough, hit the highest wait time at 90 minutes at the very BEGINNING of the day, so right at rope drop! This could be because now that it stays lighter for longer, it’s harder to ride at night, which is when the lighting is at its best. We are a little concerned, though, that The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh closed four times throughout the day, especially considering this isn’t a new issue. We’re honestly just waiting for the day Disney announces a refurbishment for this one.

Test Track hit a 105-minute wait, and while it did start off the day closed (and that made us a little nervous), it behaved for pretty much the rest of the day. It seems that wait times overall have calmed down in this park now that spring break season is over, which is a relief, but don’t get used to it — summer is right around the corner!

Rise of the Resistance started off the day rough with a two-hour closure, which partly has to do with its 120-minute wait time later in the day. However, Tower of Terror was right up there with it, hitting a 120-minute wait later in the day as well.
