You're Gonna Want to Ride This New Ride at Least 5 Times

We’re just about a month away from the reopening of this popular Disney’s Hollywood Studios ride, but it’ll be unlike we’ve ever seen it before!

Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith is currently in the process of being transformed into Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets, and just recently, we got the FULL list of songs we’ll be able to jam out to while we ride. Similar to how the previous version of the ride had different songs (and you could tell which one you’d get based on the license plate of your limo), there are five NEW songs to experience, and you know what that means — you’ll have to ride it at LEAST five times to get all the songs!

In Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith, the songs you could get were:

“Nine Lives” (limo license plate would read 1QKLIMO)
“Love in an Elevator” and “Walk This Way” (limo license plate would read UGOBABE)
“Young Lust”, “F.I.N.E.*” and “Love in an Elevator” (Rollercoaster) (limo license plate would read BUHBYE)
“Back in the Saddle” and “Dude (Looks Like a Lady)” (limo license plate would read H8TRFFC)
“Sweet Emotion” (limo license plate would read 2FAST4U)

Now, however, the new songs you’ll get on the ride, all who feature not only the Muppets, but other music stars, are:

“Song 2” — The Electric Mayhem (made famous by Blur)
“Born To Be Wild” — The Electric Mayhem featuring Camilla the Chicken (made famous by Steppenwolf)
“Love Rollercoaster” – The Electric Mayhem ft. Jennifer Hudson & Questlove
“Rock! Rock! (Till You Drop)” – The Electric Mayhem ft. Def Leppard
“Walking on Sunshine” – The Electric Mayhem ft. Kelly Clarkson

Talk about a star-studded cast! The ride officially opens to the public on May 26th, but we’re expecting to see Cast Member previews and potentially Annual Passholder and/or Disney Vacation Club previews happen in the coming weeks.

The story inside the ride is similar to the previous version, but in this case, it’s the Muppets that are running late to a music festival, and they’ve gotta put petal to the metal to get there on time! We’re really looking forward to checking out the new ride and seeing all that it has to offer.
