JUST REVEALED: Previews Announced for Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets

Get ready to play the music, get ready to light the lights, Disney just dropped some HUGE news, and we’re FREAKING out!

Disney just announced that the opening date for the Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring the Muppets is on May 26th. Which means we’re only about a month away from the iconic ride making a return in a brand-new way for all guests. However, it looks like exclusive previews are going to be happening even SOONER!

Disney spoiled us with tons of news regarding the return of Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster, which included an official opening date and the full set list that will be played on the ride. On top of all that, Disney shared that there would be exclusive previews coming for the ride.

Disney stated that this is only the beginning of the news and that we need to stay tuned for even more surprises still to come. What could this mean? Well, they said this would include previews for cast members, eligible Disney Vacation Club Members, and Annual Passholders!

Hold on…so we could be seeing the ride in less than a month? Somebody pinch us! It’s not shocking that there will be exclusive previews for the ride, as Disney does this with almost all their new releases. Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin only had previews for Cast Members before it opened earlier this month, but it looks like this ride will be different.

Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets will take you through G-Force Records, newly taken over by Scooter, and will feature Kermit, Miss Piggy, Gonzo, and more! The ride will blast classic rock songs covered by the Electric Mayhem band — that’s Animal and them.

During your ride, you will get one of five songs (similar to Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind). The songs featured on Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets are:

• “Song 2” — The Electric Mayhem (made famous by Blur)
• “Born To Be Wild” — The Electric Mayhem featuring Camilla the Chicken (made famous by Steppenwolf)
• “Love Rollercoaster” – The Electric Mayhem ft. Jennifer Hudson & Questlove
• “Rock! Rock! (Till You Drop)” – The Electric Mayhem ft. Def Leppard
• “Walking on Sunshine” – The Electric Mayhem ft. Kelly Clarkson

May 26th already was a big day at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and now it just got even BIGGER. The park will see Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster open to guests and the Magic of Disney Animation Courtyard opening as well.

The new area is going to feature things like Disney Princess meet-and-greets, an Alice in Wonderland playground for kiddos, drawing classes with an Olaf animatronic, and more! So Hollywood Studios is going to be expanding in things to do overnight, come May 26th.

There’s no official date for when previews could start for Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster, so we’re going to keep our eyes peeled for that announcement. It’s crazy we got all this news for the attraction, and there’s still even more to come. Make sure to stay tuned to AllEars so you don’t miss any of it!
