Wait Times for New Year’s Eve in Disney World Were…Something

Happy New Year’s! We celebrated in Disney World with tons of fireworks (and tons of people), but now we’re taking a look at the wait times for New Year’s Eve.

Christmas Day wasn’t nearly as busy as we expected it to be, but what about New Year’s Eve? Let’s find out.

Let’s take a look at the wait times for Wednesday, December 31st, 2025.

Magic Kingdom

TRON Lightcycle / Run got up to 135 minutes, which is pretty long! There were quite a few closures throughout the day, like for Peter Pan’s Flight, which later had a 90-minute wait. Other popular rides like Space Mountain and Seven Dwarfs Mine Train were no strangers to long lines. I can’t wait till Big Thunder Mountain Railroad and Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spins reopen in the spring to help with the crowds.

This year, Hollywood Studios had New Year’s Eve fireworks, but honestly? The wait times weren’t nearly as bad as I was expecting! Rise of the Resistance was up to 140 minutes, and even Slinky Dog Dash was over 2 hours for a bit. Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster was up to 110 minutes, too!
