Some days in Disney World don’t go as planned, while others look like they’re going to be picture-perfect.
However, even on the most gorgeous days with lower crowds and all attractions operating smoothly, sometimes things can still go wrong. For the first time in what felt like forever, rain didn’t significantly impact Disney World rides yesterday, but having a backup plan was still essential, especially in one park.

Magic Kingdom
TRON Lightcycle / Run ended the day at an 85-minute wait, which is unsurprising, since this ride is often most popular at night. This was the first day in a while that rain didn’t totally throw a wrench in Magic Kingdom’s ride plans. Carousel of Progress, The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, and TRON all had a few minor issues during the day, but nothing that caused major problems.

Flight of Passage hit a 155-minute wait right in the middle of the day, and it stayed pretty high for the surrounding hours. What was curious was that BOTH Na’vi River Journey and Flight of Passage were closed in the first hour of the day, which likely threw a big twist in people’s opening plans for the day. Always have a plan B!
