Everything about this ride was amazing! I would recommend paying for the lightning lane but if you don’t want to, the line moves relatively quickly and it’s worth it!! The beginning part where it’s just a scenic drive is so cool and pretty. The dark ride portion was so cute and I love how there’s two different scenes you can get because it makes you want to re-ride it! We rode twice and got a scene where they “paint” you! (They mist you.) It was so cool. And the racing part is sooo fun, and you can win or lose, which also makes you want to ride again! Overall, this is definitely a ride worth coming back for or waiting in a long line for because there are so many added layers of excitement put into this ride and it is sure to please everybody!

Terrible ride and I will go to this ride again! The wait was terrible, but we saw the sign and it only said 50 minutes, which we were willing to wait. As we waited, we noticed the fast pass lane going a lot faster than our lane, which was expected, but it seemed to ratio of fast pass people to stand by people was 30 to 5! As we waited for over an hour, we wanted to leave, but realized there were no exit gates to easily exit from. Two hours of waiting in a stationary line later, we were told the ride had broken down, and we were welcome to wait if we wanted. We left, and spoke to a worker at the front, who told us they had let so many fast lane people in because the line was a little over average, completely ignoring the wrap-around line of standby!!! I am going to never ride this again, and I hope after you read this nobody else will again!!

ONE OF THE BEST RIDES!!!

They make you pay extra for the lightening lane even if you’ve already purchased the genie plus pass. They let about 100 lightening lane people on before letting about 10 stand by people on. I’ve been on line for about 90 minutes already and am not close to the front. Im not a fan of the movie but im impressed with this ride! all though it does have a long queue it is pretty fun and its fun to watch people on the ride too!

LOVE! I don't even like cars that much and this is one of my absolute favourite Disneyland rides. The animatronics are SO good, the theming is absolutely incredible, and all in all it's just so much fun! And you can ride it over and over as there are two different indoor scenes you could go through, and you may or may not win the race at the end. 100% recommend 🙂

great ride. the dark ride portion is really neat with some great animatronics. the race in my opinion is the best part. it is a fun fast wild ride through cars land. i think it is a great ride for kids, especially if they love cars. the line can get insane tho. I have seen it upwards of 3 hours, so either rope drop or fast pass it. i think it has a single rider line too.
