We’re not gonna lie to ya: Going to Disneyland is an expensive endeavor. However, that doesn’t mean you need to break the bank on everything.

After spending probably thousands of dollars on park tickets, lodging, and food, the thought of buying souvenirs at Disneyland can be off-putting. With that said, if you plan on visiting “The Happiest Place On Earth” soon, there’s good news: There are 6 FREE souvenirs you can get without spending any extra cash!
Starting us off is an obvious free souvenir: celebration buttons!

Just like Disney World, Disneyland offers celebration buttons for just about any occasion. All you have to do is go into a store, ask for a free button, a Cast Member may write your name and something fun, and voila — you’ve got a free lifelong souvenir!

What’s better than a free souvenir? A free souvenir you can eat, of course!

If you head over to Disney California Adventure’s San Fransokyo Square, you’ll find the Boudin Bakery Tour, which offers free small slices of sourdough bread upon entry! Just simply enter (there’s almost never a line) and get handed some tasty free bread! The tour is usually open until 6 PM daily.

When you go to Disneyland, you might see some Hollywood celebrities, but you will DEFINITELY see Disney celebrities! From Mickey and his pals to the stars of your favorite Disney movies, these characters can be found all over the resort!

If you bring an autograph book with you, get characters to sign it for FREE!

These autographs are like gold to Disney fans of all ages, and don’t cost anything extra as long as you bring a pen and something to write on!

If you’re the owner of a MagicBand+ (which works both at Disneyland AND Disney World), you’re in for a special treat!

Right now, Disneyland is celebrating its 70th Anniversary all the way into the summer of 2026. As part of the festivities, Disneyland has installed a few new MagicBand+ experiences near Jungle Cruise, in Frontierland, near Autopia, in Fantasyland, and in the Main Street Cinema.

When you scan your MagicBand+ at the Fantasyland and Autopia locations, some neat stuff happens.

However, scanning them at the other locations yields some free card souvenirs. There are a variety of these cards in Frontierland and near Jungle Cruise, so you might come home with MULTIPLE!

If you’re scanning your MagicBand+ near Jungle Cruise, stick around and ride the ride! Once you’re getting off, be sure to ask your skipper for a free Jungle Cruise map!

Your skipper might ask you to do something funny — like make an animal sound — in order to get a map, but that’s all part of the Jungle Cruise charm. As a side note, you can also print these out at home, as they are available online. But earning one is much more fun.

Finally, the final free gift on our list is a park map!

Not only are they useful, but park maps also make for great free souvenirs! Additionally, Disneyland changes up its maps every so often and for special events, creating a sort of rareness that should have any Disney fan/collector super excited to take one home.
