Disney, What Is HAPPENING With Magic Kingdom’s Rides Right Now?!

It’s been a rough few days for Disney World in terms of ride closures.

In Magic Kingdom over the last few days, the PeopleMover has had major issues, and many of the parks have had ride closure issues that don’t appear to have anything to do with the weather. If you were hoping they’d improve…well, maybe don’t go to Magic Kingdom right now.

Here’s a full look at the Disney World wait times on January 25th, 2025.

Magic Kingdom

Okay, honestly, will someone PLEASE help Magic Kingdom?! While Disney didn’t report as many ride closures yesterday as we’ve seen the previous two days, multiple attractions were down at the start of the day, and a few continued to struggle as the day went on. Shockingly, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train shot up to a 125-minute wait when only a PeopleMover closure was taking place elsewhere in the park (the poor PeopleMover…), and the wait for TRON Lightcycle / Run never got high enough to overtake it.

Epcot

Hey, wait, while we’re at it, someone needs to go help EPCOT, too, because WOW was this park on the struggle bus yesterday. Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure had the highest wait of 90 minutes at the END of the day after both it, Frozen Ever After, and Spaceship Earth had issues throughout the day.

Alright, so…we wish we could tell you what happened in Animal Kingdom to cause Flight of Passage to jump up to a 175 MINUTE wait at the end of January, but we’re just as clueless as you are. Wait times dropped drastically later in the day, so during this time of year, it may be best to wait and see if that high wait time you’re eying will drop.

Disney’s Hollywood Studios

It was apparently just a very strange day in the entire resort yesterday because, while it was only by a few minutes, Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster had the highest wait time of 115 minutes! Thankfully, though, this park didn’t struggle with ride closures, which is a miracle.
