Don’t Let This Huge PROBLEM Happen to You in Disney’s Hollywood Studios

So you’ve planned out your day in Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

You’ve made your Advanced Dining Reservations, purchased Genie+, and made a game plan for when to hit all of your must-dos throughout the day. Having a general plan is a good idea, but if you’re not careful, a huge problem could throw off your day and prevent you from doing everything you wanted to. Here’s how to avoid it.

Yesterday, on August 17th, 2023, twenty-two rides unexpectedly closed around Disney World at varying times. Some of these were due to inclement weather, and others were due to technical difficulties.

Unfortunately, temporary ride closures aren’t exactly uncommon, but usually, they don’t last too long, so they aren’t always a big inconvenience. But sometimes, they can be closed for hours, throwing a wrench in your plans and making it harder to get everything done.

Occasionally, the closure could last through the rest of the day! Yesterday, Slinky Dog Dash closed around 3PM and stayed that way through the end of the night. Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance closed around 7PM and also stayed that way through the end of the night.

Unfortunately, sometimes these closures are unavoidable, so if you have some must-rides on your agenda, it’s a good idea to try to get them out of the way early in the day. That way, if they end up struggling later on and don’t open back up, you’re not stuck missing out altogether.
