Something very interesting is happening in Disney World, and it has us feeling like something VERY important has just been proven.
When Disney announced that Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster would be rethemed to the Muppets, there was a lot of argument that kids won’t know who they are, and that it would be even LESS popular than Aerosmith (despite many kids also having no idea who Aerosmith is). Seeing these wait times, though? Yeah, this ride is BIG among people of all ages!
Let’s take a look at wait times from Friday, June 5th!
Magic Kingdom
To no one’s surprise, TRON Lightcycle / Run hit an 85 minute wait, but some rides certainly had quite the rough day. Pirates of the Caribbean was closed for a total of four hours, with three of those being in a row, and SEVEN other attractions had at least one hour long closures throughout the day. It wasn’t the best day for Magic Kingdom, but we’ve seen worse, so we’ll let it slide for now.

Avatar Flight of Passage started off the day with its highest wait time of 105 minutes, so could rope dropping be back for this attraction? We’ll have to keep an eye on it and see. Other wait times stayed relatively low, which could be due to the fact that everyone is over at Bluey’s Wild World, or that the new addition still hasn’t been enough to bolster attendance in the park as a whole.
