The Day You Didn’t Expect to Be Ridiculously Busy in Disney World

The holiday season is over, but that doesn’t mean Disney World is empty!

We’ve seen some lingering crowds in the first few days of the new year, especially with the Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend approaching. We’ve been a bit surprised by the wait times and crowds we’ve encountered!

When we were in Magic Kingdom on New Year’s Day, the crowds were much lower than expected. However, just one day later on January 2nd, things were HOPPING! We saw ride queues stretched across the park, crowded walkways, and packed gift shops and restaurants.
