That’s because rope drop at Magic Kingdom is always going to get you on rides faster with lower wait times — and trust us, you want that.​

We’re going to tell you why rope drop at Magic Kingdom is so important. If you were visiting Magic Kingdom yesterday and were there at park open, the LONGEST wait time you would have seen would have been for TRON Lightcycle / Run...and that wait time was only 30 minutes! Yep, forget having to buy Lightning Lane Single Pass to avoid long lines, all you have to do is get up early.

Likewise, another super popular Magic Kingdom ride that generally has long wait times, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train only had a 20-minute line at rope drop. With a wait that short, you could ride it a few times in a row!
