REVIEW: Wait, What? A Popular EPCOT Snack Changed…For the Better?

When we’re at EPCOT, nothing beats a Churro Sundae from La Cantina de San Angel in the Mexico Pavilion! But we heard that one of our favorite sweet treats has changed recently, so we had to investigate.

We regret to inform you that the rumors are true – the Churro Sundae is no longer available with lime soft serve! We’re reviewing the new version to update you on what’s better.

The new version of the Churro Sundae is still $7.99 at La Cantina de San Angel. It’s your choice of soft serve topped with mini churros and sprinkles. Now, your soft serve choices are vanilla, chocolate, or swirl soft serve, with lime no longer available, and it’s topped with chocolate sauce, too.

The ice cream is the standard vanilla soft serve that you find around the parks, so it’s nothing new. The churros were the same as before, but we noticed that these ones got soggy ten times faster. The churros were half soggy, half crunchy because of the dip, only 5-minutes into snacking. The portion size is still the same, so it’s a great size for $8 and easily shareable.

While we’re not running to get this every EPCOT trip like the lime version, it’s still a solid frozen treat if you’re in the Mexico Pavilion. If you want to try it, you can find it at La Cantina de San Angel. Have you eaten there? If so, you can leave a review below!
