Getting to everything on your list in one trip can be a real challenge — there are so many things to do and the parks can get busy. Ride wait times can be long, restaurants busy, and transportation packed. So, how do you shave some of that time to do as much as possible? Sure, you could buy Genie+ to reduce the time you spend waiting in lines, but we have a secret way to get on rides faster — and it’s free!
Disney has some extremely popular rides that can see LONG wait times. Yesterday, on June 6th, 2023, Rise of the Resistance got up to a 145-minute wait! Slinky Dog Dash and Seven Dwarfs Mine Train both reached 150 minutes and Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run saw a wait of 155 minutes.
We know, waiting 2.5 hours to get on a ride is a lot. But, did you know that at the end of the night, wait times typically go down dramatically? Yesterday, Rise of the Resistance had a 20 minute wait at 9 PM. And Smugglers Run? FIFTEEN minutes. That is a over two hours shorter than its highest point in the day!
However, as a warning, waiting until the last minute to ride these rides can be a bit risky. Sometimes rides have to close temporarily for unforseen techinical problems. If that happens near the end of the night, you might be stuck not getting on the ride at all! Keep that in mind if you are only at a certain park for one day and are considering this trick on a bucket list ride.
But, it might be just the trick to get on one of these rides in a jiffy, especially if you know you’ll be back at some point. Now, let’s take a look at the rest of the wait times for June 6th, 2023.
