Test Track Reports Unexpected 4-Hour CLOSURE in EPCOT

We’re in Disney World nearly every day, and that means we see a LOT of things — the good, the not-so-good, and the “hey, that’s new!” (That’s usually what we tell you about right away.)

That also means we see firsthand how frequent ride closures and ride issues can significantly impact wait times around the park, as well as how crowds move.​ This is why we can say pretty confidently that we’re getting concerned about a certain EPCOT ride that decided to close for MULTIPLE hours.

We track the wait times in Disney World every single day! On October 30th, for example, we noticed that several parks reported unexpected ride closures, which impacted the other wait times in Disney World.

In fact, we’re starting to worry that Disney might put one ride BACK under refurbishment thanks to an extended ride closure at Test Track in EPCOT. Let’s dive in and check out the FULL LIST of wait times in Disney World on October 30th, 2025. 

Magic Kingdom

The Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party event took place starting at 7 PM in Magic Kingdom, which meant wait times were relatively low all around. TRON Lightcycle / Run hit a 55-minute wait only twice during the day (otherwise it was lower), and we were happy to see that while Tiana’s Bayou Adventure had some trouble in the first three hours of the day, it evened out afterward, and all rides behaved well — an almost-Halloween miracle!

EPCOT, unfortunately, had a VERY rough day, starting out with FOUR ride closures in the morning. Test Track was only open FIVE hours of the day (Spaceship Earth struggled, too). Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind and Test Track both tied at 90-minute waits, which we honestly thought would be much worse with all those ride struggles.

To our surprise, Na’vi River Journey had the highest wait of the day at 55 minutes, and we’re SHOCKED that Flight of Passage or Kilimanjaro Safaris didn’t beat it out, but hey, that’s what keeps Disney World interesting — things are almost always changing! This park also didn’t have ANY closures, which is a massive win.

Disney’s Hollywood Studios

After closing for four hours in a row, Rise of the Resistance hit a 105-minute wait towards the end of the day, but it certainly wasn’t the only ride with struggles. Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway, Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster, and Slinky Dog Dash all had minor closures as well, but fortunately, they didn’t last long.
