NEWS: 3 HUGE Magic Kingdom Restaurant CHANGES Are Coming Next Week

Can you believe we are just a week away from the first Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party of the season? Yep, Halloween starts in August and Christmas starts in November at Disney World. Disney doesn’t waste any time! It’s a quick changeover from Halloween to Christmas, and we are expecting Christmas decor to be up in Magic Kingdom on November 2nd.

However, the decorations aren’t the only things changing in Magic Kingdom next week. Some brand-new food is debuting at Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, and three popular restaurants are seeing some HUGE menu changes.

Yuletide dining is about to arrive at three Magic Kingdom restaurants: Be Our Guest Restaurant, Cinderella’s Royal Table, and The Plaza Restaurant. While Yuletide dining has been an offering in previous years, all three restaurants are offering NEW menus this year. While the special menu will only be available at Be Our Guest and Cinderella’s Royal Table during Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, you can feast on The Plaza Restaurant’s special menu during normal park hours, too.

Reservations are recommended for all of these restaurants, but you can also try for walk-up availability. Just no guarantees that you will be able to snag a table! The Plaza Restaurant will start serving its new menu on November 2nd, while Cinderella’s Royal Table and Be Our Guest will start serving their new menus on November 7th (during the first Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party of the year). For Cinderella’s Royal Table and Be Our Guest, the special menu will be available starting at 4 PM for party attendees.

The Plaza Restaurant

Food

• Holiday Beef Pot Roast: served in a puff pastry crust with mashed potatoes, beer-battered onion rings, and black garlic-truffle aïoli

• Holiday Turkey Meatloaf: with mashed potatoes, green beans, cornbread crumbles, and cranberry barbecue sauce

• Pistachio and Cherry Cheesecake: with morello cherry compote

Beverages

• Holiday Cosmopolitan: Grainger’s Deluxe Organic Vanilla Vodka, Cointreau Liqueur, and cranberry and lime juices, garnished with a sugar rim

Cinderella’s Royal Table

Food

• Crispy Pork Belly: Sweet potato purée, jicama slaw, chestnuts, and apple-cranberry glaze

  

• Roasted Lamb Chops: Potatoes au gratin, honey-glazed carrots, and cabernet-cherry jus

• Beef Short Rib Wellington: Mashed potatoes, roasted root vegetables, and red wine sauce

• Hazelnut Carriage Cake: Spiced poached pear, vanilla bean mousse, and sugared cranberries

Beverages

• Cranberry Christmas Cocktail: Fords Gin, cane syrup, cranberry juice, and Minute Maid Orange Juice garnished with cranberries and rosemary

• Cranberry Sparkling Cocktail: Grand Marnier Liqueur, cranberry juice, and Nicolas Feuillatte Enchantée Champagne Brut

Be Our Guest Restaurant

Food

• Lamb Chop Cassoulet: Lamb sausage and white bean stew, tomatoes, toasted breadcrumbs, and mint sauce verte

• Poulet Rouge Chicken: Roasted sweet potatoes and brussels sprouts with a cranberry pan sauce

• Baked Brie and Caramelized Apple Tart: smoked almonds, watercress, and cranberry-orange liqueur sauce

• Flourless Black Forest Trifle: Layers of cherry liqueur compote, chocolate crémeux, chantilly cream, and festive chocolate pieces

Beverages

• Jolly Holly Cocktail: Grainger’s Deluxe Organic Vanilla Vodka, Myers’s Original Dark Rum, butterscotch syrup, and apple cider garnished with a sugared graham cracker rim

• Mistletoe Margarita: Teremana Blanco Tequila, Grand Marnier Liqueur, cranberry juice, and lime juice garnished with a sugared rim and cranberries

Man oh man, my mouth is watering just looking at all the new eats and drinks. We can’t wait for these new menu offerings to debut in Magic Kingdom next week and for the Christmas season to begin. If dining at a table service restaurant isn’t what you had in mind, there are SO many other food and drinks you can try at quick service restaurants and stands during Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. From hot dogs and spring rolls to cupcakes and beignets, there is something for just about everyone!
