You Can Save $19 If You Follow This Unspoken Ride Rule in Disney World

I am one of those Disney adults who never waits longer than 30 minutes for any ride — yes, even my favorites!

​That’s why I budget for Lightning Lanes every single trip. However, the real trick is knowing WHEN you need to buy them. There’s one ride that sells out of Lightning Lane Single Passes all of the time, but I always save the $19 thanks to one of the easiest ride hacks I’ve ever done.

Flight of Passage is easily Animal Kingdom’s busiest ride…and for good reason! The 3D simulator attraction takes you into the most stunning Pandora scenes while you feel like you’re flying on the back of a banshee. It breathes and everything!

We get the hype, but if you want a shorter wait time, you’re going to want to hop in line towards the end of the park’s operating hours. As long as you are in line before the official closing time, you should be able to ride. We usually see much higher wait times in the morning than in the evening!

The AllEars team is in agreement that Lightning Lane Multi Pass isn’t a great choice for 2026 either. There are already fewer attractions included, and it will be even less useful once DINOSAUR closes on February 2nd.
