Today, Disney has released additional information on transportation services that will resume when the resort re-opens.

Thanks to Reporter Scott Gustin directed readers via Twitter to a recent update on Disney World’s website, which includes updates on transportation.

For starters, Disney has shared that complimentary bus transportation will be available for resort guests to and from Disney Springs prior to the parks re-opening on July 11 and July 15.

They confirmed that complimentary transportation will be available to and from the parks when they re-open, and that all transportation available will operate with proper social distancing in place. This will result in limited capacity, and possibly delays.

Previously, Disney mentioned the use of ferry boats, monorails, and buses, and have not provided any further news on which transportation systems will be operating.

Additionally, Disney has announced that Minnie Van Service will not be operational during the parks and resorts initial re-opening. They have also stated that while self-parking will be available at the resorts, Valet Parking services will also be temporarily unavailable.

The one exception for Valet Parking Services is for guests with disabilities. A valid disability parking permit will be required.

Parking fees will still be in place for Disney Resort guests.

Disney’s Magical Express

Disney’s Magical Express service will still be operating and providing resort guests complimentary transportation to and from Orlando International Airport.
