Don’t Let These 5 Closures RUIN Your Disney World Trip

That’s why we cover new discounts and deals, wait times, new experiences, and closures. Disney World is constantly changing and evolving and it can be a lot to keep up with! So here is a full list of everything that will be closed during April!

Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster

One of the most popular coasters in Disney World officially closed on February 21st for a lengthy refurbishment. The ride isn’t set to reopen until sometime this summer — be prepared for this if you’re visiting soon!

Voyage of the Little Mermaid

The Little Mermaid stage show has been closed since the 2020 closures in Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Disney has not announced if/when the show will come back.

Blizzard Beach

As one water park reopens, another closes. Typhoon Lagoon reopened in March and Disney announced that Blizzard Beach would be closing for refurbishment. There is currently no reopening date for the water park.

Disney World Pools

The winter season comes with pool closures each year, but we’re almost at the end of two popular pool refurbishments!

The Feature Pool and Whirlpool Spa at Disney’s Contemporary Resort closed in early January and will be closed for refurbishment through early April 2023. There is currently no exact reopening date.

Meadow Swimmin’ Pool and Whirlpool Spa at Disney’s Fort Wilderness closed for refurbishment on January 9th. There is no exact reopening date, but it is set to reopen in early April 2023.
