Did Everyone Forget About These SUPER Popular Disney World Rides?

It feels like Disney World is changing all the time. Our favorite attractions are going away, we’re finding new number one rides, and don’t even get us started on how often food changes at restaurants! Some attractions, though, will always remain as our favorites, but do others share this opinion?

We take a look at the wait times every day so you can better plan your Disney World vacation. When we were analyzing the wait times this weekend, we noticed that some of the uber popular rides in the parks weren’t, well, very popular! Could this mean that it will be easier to get on those high-demand attractions?​

Let’s take a look at the wait times from Saturday, August 23rd, 2025.

Magic Kingdom

Over at Magic Kingdom, Space Mountain had the lower wait times. I have distinct memories of waiting for over an hour in that super long queue just waiting to board my rocket. It seems like the thrill of Space Mountain might be spread out to TRON Lightcycle Run, the newest roller coaster in Tomorrowland.

I can’t even believe I’m actually typing this out, but Frozen Ever After didn’t get above 55 minutes in EPCOT. That’s incredible! This is another attraction where I’ve waited in the outdoor queue for far too long to be going in circles in the switchbacks inside for about four minutes of fun. Don’t get me wrong, I probably would wait over an hour for this for nostalgia’s sake, but I can’t say that’s what we recommend during your Disney World vacation.

It’s being turned into an Indiana Jones attraction and will be closing early next year for the large transformation of the Tropical Americas themed area. Disney’s Hollywood Studios

Are you ready to enter the Twilight Zone? Well, yesterday Tower of Terror never got above an hour wait, so it would have been a perfect time to enter a different dimension. I usually analyze the wait time on Sundays, and I’m always surprised that a Saturday can have low wait times. The Tower of Terror has two (working?) elevators, and when they’re both running, Disney is able to get you through the dimensions pretty fast.
