You Should Make an Advance Dining Reservation

Avoid the High Cancelation Fee

Plans change, and sometimes, that means you can’t make your dining reservation. While Disney World has relaxed its cancelation policies for a majority of its restaurants, Cinderella’s Royal Table is a bit different.

You can still cancel up to two hours prior to your reservation to avoid a no-show charge, but be warned if you forget to cancel, you will be charged the full amount of the meal per person. This is a hefty increase from the usual $10 no-show charge per person at most Disney World restaurants.

Show Up Hungry

Cinderella’s Royal Table is not only a character meal, but it is also considered fine dining. The food here is not served à la carte; instead, all three meal periods have a prix fixe menu. This means you will be served multiple courses, which can be a lot of food to eat, especially if you spent the day snacking throughout the park.

It is Pricey

As mentioned above, you get to dine inside the castle and meet with the princesses, and the menu is prix-fixed, which means that this fine dining experience comes with a hefty price tag. For breakfast, it costs $74 for adults and $45 for children. For both lunch and dinner, it costs $88 for adults and $52 for children to dine at Cinderella’s Royal Table.

You May Get Stuck Inside

If your dining reservation is close to the time of the park’s nighttime fireworks spectacular, you may get stuck inside the castle until the show is over. As noted on the Disney World website, “The area around Cinderella Castle will be roped off shortly before the nighttime spectacular. If you wish to see the show or explore the park, please depart the castle at least 20 minutes before showtime.”

Happily Ever After

This is due to safety concerns, so if you wish to watch the fireworks outside of the castle, make sure to pay attention to your reservation time to make sure you are able to leave the restaurant 20 minutes before showtime. You can check the My Disney Experience app for the fireworks showtime as different shows rotate throughout the year, and the times of the fireworks also change.
