This Is the BEST Food at Universal Orlando

Planning a Universal Orlando trip this year and don’t know where to find the best eats? Don’t worry; we’re here to help.

Universal Orlando

We talk a lot about the food and drinks over in Disney World, and while that’s important for planning, finding the best eats around Universal Orlando is also imperative to make sure you don’t spend money on mediocre (or terrible) food that you’ll instantly regret. While you’re walking around the parks (not including Epic Universe, since we aren’t sure yet what will be on the menu yet), these are the foods we highly recommend!

Universal Studios

You’ll find that a lot of these are located over in Universal Studios, so this is the park that definitely has better options, in our opinion! Starting out strong, we have basically any pastry or breakfast item from Today Cafe, because we’ve never been disappointed by something here!

Over at Cafe La Bamba, which is one many people walk right by, we highly recommend the Fresh Salsa Flight for just $6.99. It’s easily shareable and gives you a great, fresh snack that can revitalize you on a busy park day.

We’re also big fans of crepes in general, and almost any crepe at Central Park Crepes is a winner in our book! There are both sweet and savory crepes available, and we’re big fans of both different types.

Over at Bumblebee Man’s Taco Truck in Springfield, you’ll find loads of great options, but we highly recommend the Carne Asada Tacos for $11.99. They even come with chips and salsa as a side, easily making it a filling meal. We love how flavorful and fresh they are each time we get them!

Tucked away in the London section of the park, right near the Knight Bus, you’ll find the London Taxi Stand. It may not look like much, but they sell AMAZING Jacket Potatoes here that we can never get enough of!

Inside the Wizarding World of Harry Potter Diagon Alley, you’ll find Florean Fortescue’s Ice-Cream Parlour, which has incredible soft-serve ice cream. Seriously, this spot isn’t one to miss, and while any flavor is great, the butterbeer ice cream is a must-grab!

Heading over into Minions Land, we can’t get enough of two items here. The first is the Minion Pop over at Freeze Ray Pops, though all the specialty pops here are high on our list!

And over at Minion Cafe, the main quick service location here, don’t be fooled by the fact that it’s on the kid’s menu — the Mini Boss’ Mega Melt meal for $9.49 is one we find ourselves getting EVERY time we’re eating lunch in this area!

Seriously, Universal knows what they’re doing with these potatoes and french fries in the shape of Minions; they’re delicious.

Islands of Adventure

We only have two real standouts in Islands of Adventure, but they’re tried and true! Over at Green Eggs and Ham Cafe in Seuss Landing, you’ll find the Who Hash for $16.49. A little on the expensive side, BUT you get to keep the cute can, it’s genuinely delicious, and will keep you full for quite some time.

And finally, who could forget Butterbeer? You can find this in Diagon Alley or Hogsmeade, and while most of us on the team are partial to the frozen offering, you can also get it cold or hot.

  1. For those in search of Gluten Free meals, I can’t say enough good things about Mel’s Diner at Universal Studios or the Red Oven Pizza in City Walk. Obviously, also great burgers and pizzas for those without special diet issues.
