We’re Predicting the TOP 2025 Vacation Destination for Millennials (HINT: It’s NOT Disney World)

Millennials — are you looking to plan your 2025 vacation yet?

EPCOT

Walt Disney World is a perfect vacation destination for the young and the young-at-heart.  Few places on Earth can appeal to so many different ages and generations. But, we think there is a new place that will have millennials, especially, flocking to.

Epic Universe is the BRAND-NEW theme park being built by Universal Orlando Resort and is scheduled to open on May 22nd, 2025! It will stand alone from the other two Universal Orlando parks but will be 2 miles from them. The new park will feature five worlds waiting to be discovered — Celestial Park, Dark Universe, Wizarding World of Harry Potter — Ministry of Magic, Super Nintendo World, and How To Train Your Dragon: Isle of Berk. Each world will be incredibly immersive with new rides, restaurants, shopping, and more.

Let’s talk about rides! Stardust Racers will be located in Celestial Park and is “a dual-launch racing coaster that sends guests rocketing through the skies aboard comets in a race to see who’s the fastest of them all.” The ride will reach speeds up to 62 mph and heights up to 133 feet along 5,000 feet of track. It is meant to be Epic Universe’s most thrilling coaster experience.

If there is one thing Millennials will cling to, it is Harry Potter, and lucky enough, Epic will have a new Harry Potter section, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter: Ministry of Magic

Universal has said that we’ll be able to “discover a different era of the wizarding world in an all-new land that blends 1920s wizarding Paris from Warner Bros. Pictures’ Fantastic Beasts films with the iconic British Ministry of Magic from the Harry Potter series.”

We are getting an unbelievable new ride, Harry Potter and the Battle at the Ministry. This ride will take you on a chase through the Ministry of Magic as Dolores Umbridge attempts to escape during her trial for her crimes. We can’t wait to ride this!

The Untrainable Dragon show to Epic Universe! This is inspired by the popular “Untrainable” show from Universal Beijing Resort and features characters like Hiccup, Toothless, Gobber, and Astrid. You can expect musical numbers, life-sized dragons, and more!

Dark Universe will take us into a “world of myth and mystery” with the classic monsters that terrify us. You’ll find 2 attractions here, Monsters Unchained and Curse of the Werewolf, and 2 experiences, Darkmoor Monster Makeup and Meet the Monsters. Millennials love Halloween Horror Nights so this land will be a dose of that fear all year long.
