Early 2014 - Late 2015	Swan : Disney Resorts	WDW Swan Hotel The Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin is currently undergoing the largest renovation in its 25-year history. The Swan rooms are currently being renovated, set to be completed in 2015. Renovations take place between 9am and 7pm daily.
Jul. 26 - Apr. 01	Polynesian : Disney Resorts	Nanea Volcano Pool Several enhancements are scheduled, including a new aquatic playground with children's slides, a new hot tub, and a larger deck with more guest seating. As an alternative, resort guests are being notified that they will receive free, single-day admission to Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park. Transportation will be provided to the water park, where a dedicated Polynesian guest check-in will be available, at which you can receive your complimentary tickets and towels. The Polynesian's leisure pool will remain open during the Nanea pool refurbishment.

Many rooms (but not all) will then have the ability to accommodate up to five, with the addition of a bunk-size fold down bed. These rooms will be located in all of the resort's villages.

Jan. 01 - Feb. 02	Beach Club : Disney Resorts	Stormalong Bay Through February 2, 2015, the Flying Jib slide will not be available to guests. Also closed during this period will be Bubblin' Bay and Sinking Sands areas of the pool -- essentially all areas from the slide exit up to the nearby bridge. During these closures, all other areas of the pool will remain open to guests.

Major in-room modifications include new furniture, carpet, flooring, curtains, linens and stainless steel appliances. Upgrades to the electrical system will add USB charging stations and additional electrical outlets to the villas. Deluxe Studio villas are being expanded to accommodate five guests with the addition of a fold-down sleeper. Elsewhere at the resort, a billiard table has been added to The Drawing Room located at the entrance to the villa wing. The table is available free to guests 24 hours per day.

The interior will feature spherical, planet-shaped lighting fixtures and will create a welcoming atmosphere for fans to celebrate a new generation of superstar entertainers, while retaining the old movie memorabilia. There will be a new outdoor terrace and an outdoor bar space called Stargazers that will feature live entertainment. The main dining room will include a DJ. Planet Hollywood's renovations will be completed in 2016.

2/16 - TBA	ESPN Wide World of Sports	Multi-Use Sports and Entertainment Venue ESPN Wide World of Sports has teamed up with the nation's top cheerleading organization, Varsity Spirit, to create a new state-of-the-art cheerleading and dance team competition venue, which will include a flexible design for one large competition space that can be set up for as many as four competition areas. Additional areas are being tailored for warm up and practice, along with areas for judges and officials. With the capacity to seat more than 8,000 guests, plus performance and warm-up space, the new multi-use sports and entertainment venue will also be able to host six regulation basketball courts, six regulation volleyball courts or concert configurations. There will be concessions throughout the building, and an additional box office and entry to the complex. Construction is ongoing until further notice, with intermittent overnight lane closures, lane shifts, traffic congestion and noise along Osceola Parkway/Victory Way.

There will be concessions throughout the building, and an additional box office and entry to the complex. June 2018 - Late 2018	Coronado Springs Resort : Disney Resorts	Pepper Market Pepper Market at Coronado Springs Resort will undergo minor refurbishment but will remain in operation during this time.
June 11 - 18, 2018	Pixar Plaza : Disney's Hollywood Studios	Toy Story Midway Mania To prepare for the opening of Toy Story Land on June 30, Toy Story Mania will be closed from June 11-18. When the attraction reopens, you will continue to enter and exit the attraction on Pixar Avenue until Toy Story Land opens.
June - Summer 2018	Pop Century : Disney Resorts	Room Refurbishment During this time, even though most work will not start until after 9 a.m. daily, you may see or hear work in progress and certain pathways may be unavailable.
Now - TBA	Resort Wide : Walt Disney World	Walt Disney World Monorail The monorail is undergoing ongoing refurbishment. As a result, normal service and/or routes may be modified. Alternative transportation options will be available during this time.
June 18 - Late August 2018	Pandora - The World of Avatar : Disney's Animal Kingdom	Lake Buena Vista Golf Course The course will operate as a 9-hole course during its refurbishment, which will include the addition of a Mickey-shaped bunker. Also, all of the bunkers will be enhanced, adding new powdery white sand.
Jun. 21 - Aug. 11	Typhoon Lagoon : Water Parks	Disney H2O Glow Nights Special lighting effects will transform the water park as Buzz, Woody and Jessie throw a Beach Party inspired by their friend, "Partysaurus" Rex. This special ticketed event will take place on Thursdays and Saturdays from 8 to 11 p.m. and costs $55 for adults and $50 for children ages 3-9 (plus tax). June 25 - Mid-August 2018	Pandora - The World of Avatar : Disney's Animal Kingdom	Oak Trail Golf Course Oak Trail will receive a Mickey-shaped bunker; also, the greens are being restored to their original size and totally resurfaced using paspalum grass for the first time ever on a Disney putting green.

Jan. 01 - Sept 30th 2023	Disney Resorts : Walt Disney World	Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser Disney announced that the Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser will be closing permanently. The final voyage for the Star Wars Hotel will be September 28th-30th, 2023.
Under Construction - May 27th	Future World East : EPCOT	Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind The Guardians of Galaxy themed coaster will be one of the longest enclosed roller coasters in the world and feature a brand-new ride system. Disney has shared that the ride will open in Summer 2022.
Under Construction - TBD	Tomorrowland : Magic Kingdom	TRON: Lightcycle Run TRON Lightcycle Run is coaster-style attraction, in which riders board a train of two-wheeled Lightcycles. It offers access into the energy, lights and excitement of TRON's high-tech universe and is one of the most thrilling adventures.
Dec 2018 - December 23, 2022	Main Street USA : Magic Kingdom	Walt Disney World Railroad The Walt Disney World Railroad will cease running and will sit "in residence" at its Main Street Station while work progresses on the new Tron coaster coming to Tomorrowland. This will give guests the chance to have an up-close look at the railroad and take advantage of some unique photo opportunities.
Under Construction - Mar 1, 2022	Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser : Disney Resorts	Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser, more simply known to some as the Star Wars hotel, is a two-night, fully-immersive “cruise” adventure located adjacent to Disney’s Hollywood Studios. It is the most highly-themed Resort that Disney has ever built, and it promises to transport guests into the world of Star Wars for an experience like no other. The hotel's GRAND OPENING is set for March 1st, 2022.
Mar 2020 - Jun. 13	Disney's Animal Kingdom : Walt Disney World	Finding Nemo: The Musical Disney has announced that Finding Nemo: The Musical has permanently closed as we know it to be reimagined with a new storyline based on the same classic characters. The new show will be named Finding Nemo: The Big Blue… and Beyond! and is set to open sometime in summer 2022.
March 2020 - Nov. 3rd	Disney's Hollywood Studios : Walt Disney World	Fantasmic! After a long closure, Fantasmic will reopen in Disney's Hollywood Studios on November 3rd.
2020 - CLOSED	Polynesian : Disney Resorts	Spirit Of Aloha Disney has confirmed that Spirit of Aloha will not be returning after its closure at the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Mar 2020 - Mar. 31, 2022	All Star Sports : Disney Resorts	Disney's All-Star Sports Resort Reopening All-Star Sports Resort will reopen on March 31st, 2022. Guests can begin booking their stays at the hotel on December 22nd, 2021.

Art of Animation : Disney Resorts	Flippin' Fins Pool The Flippin’ Fins Pool is set to close at Disney's Art of Animation Resort for refurbishment beginning in early January 2022 through late February 2022. During this time, other pool and recreation offerings will still be open including The Big Blue Pool and Cozy Cone Pool.
Jan. - April	Animal Kingdom Lodge - Kidani Village : Disney Resorts	Samawati Springs Pool Samawati Springs Pool at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas — Kidani Village will be unavailable from January 2022 through April 2022. The other pool, located at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge — Jambo House will remain open during the closure.
Jan. 4 - Apr. 16	Disney's Animal Kingdom : Walt Disney World	Expedition Everest Expedition Everest — Legend of the Forbidden Mountain will be closed for a lengthy refurbishment beginning January 4th through April 16th, 2022.

Jan. 10 - Feb. 10	Magic Kingdom : Walt Disney World	Splash Mountain Splash Mountain will close for routine maintenance in Magic Kingdom from January 10th through February 10th, 2022.
Feb. 7 - Mid-March	Art of Animation : Disney Resorts	Schoolyard Splashground From February 7 through mid-March, the Schoolyard Splashground near the Big Blue pool will be unavailable at Disney's Art of Animation Resort.
Feb. 11	Magic Kingdom : Walt Disney World	Disney Adventure Friends Cavalcade Debut Starting February 11th, you can see nearly 30 characters from Disney and Pixar in Magic Kingdom, including Nick and Judy from “Zootopia,” Baloo and King Louie from “The Jungle Book,” Merida, Moana, The Incredibles, and more.
Feb. 14 - Mid-March	Saratoga Springs : Disney Resorts	Grandstand Leisure Pool The Grandstand Leisure Pool at Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa will close from February 14th through mid-March 2022. During this time the High Rock Spring Pool and the Paddock Pool will remain open for guests.
Feb. 14 - Feb. 18	Magic Kingdom : Walt Disney World	Big Thunder Mountain Railroad Big Thunder Mountain Railroad will close for “routine maintenance” in Magic Kingdom from February 14th-18th, 2022.
