It’s official: wait times appear to be going down as more and more kids go back to school, which is great to give these Disney World rides a break. Especially since a few of them seem to really NEED that break.
I’ve been watching Disney World wait times nearly every day, every week, for over a year now, so things stand out to me pretty quickly when they seem to be off. What I immediately noticed when looking at yesterday’s wait times in the park is that there are a few rides at Disney World that may need some extra TLC, even if they JUST came out of a refurbishment.
Here’s a look at the wait times for Saturday, August 2nd, 2025.
Magic Kingdom
TRON Lightcycle / Run hit a 110-minute wait time three hours into the park day. The park did much better overall with ride closures; only three smaller attractions closed throughout the day — Mad Tea Party, Under The Sea, and Mickey’s PhilharMagic. Thankfully, they all only lasted an hour, but we are a little concerned about Under The Sea since it JUST came out of refurbishment.
