Here at AllEars, being a professional Disney Adult is part of our job description.

Our team is in the parks every day to give you all the best tips and find the latest eats to help you plan and prepare for your upcoming vacation to Disney World. We decided that since 2025 is here, we would make our own resolutions and stop wasting time on these five things in Disney World, and here is why you should, too!
Efficiency can be super important at Disney World if you are trying to squeeze a ton of things into one trip. So take it from us: ditch these five things to help you save some time at the Most Magical Place on Earth.

Stop Waiting in Line for Quick Service Meals
Disney World is full of lines; there is a line to park, a line to get through security, lines to go on rides and attractions, and even lines to eat. You can avoid the line at many quick service locations by simply utilizing Mobile Order!

Mobile Order is offered at many quick service locations throughout the parks, water parks, and resorts. You can even schedule your Mobile Orders in advance. By skipping the ordering line, you are saving yourself precious time that can be used to check out other parts of Disney World.
The Unspoken Rules of Mobile Order in Disney World

Stop Ordering Pre-made Cocktails
Alcohol is expensive at Disney World, and you deserve to spend your hard-earned money on drinks that are made fresh. Unfortunately, a lot of drinks at EPCOT’s festival booths and even some sit-down restaurants use pre-made mixes.

If you are looking to treat yourself to a fresh cocktail, you will want to check out the many bars across the resort.

Stop Getting Stuck Leaving Magic Kingdom After Fireworks
Watching the fireworks in Magic Kingdom can be a magical way to end your night, but what is not so magical is trying to leave the park as soon as the fireworks are done.

You may end up spending a lot of wasted time trying to fight through the crowds and then waiting in long transportation lines to get back to your resort.

If you do not care about watching the fireworks, it is a good idea to leave BEFORE they start. Or, if you want to leave right after the fireworks, consider choosing a spot towards the end of Main Street, U.S.A., to make your exit easier.

You can also hang out in the park post-fireworks and wait for the crowds to die down. If you know where you want to go once the show is over, it is a good idea to pick a spot near your next move. For example, if you plan to go ride Pirates of the Caribbean after the fireworks wrap up, you may want to view the fireworks near the Adventureland entrance.

Stop Waiting in Long Attraction Lines
Now, our team knows how lucky we are to spend time in the parks every day, but when we see a long wait for a ride, we try to avoid it. While sometimes it is not possible to not wait in lines for rides, there are a few things you can do to reduce your time waiting in line.

You could always rope drop popular attractions as soon as the park opens. Being in the park early can help you squeeze in a few attractions before the crowds start pouring in.

Another tip is to wait to ride popular attractions towards the end of the night. In most cases, many people start to leave the park, and wait times start to decrease. You can also save a popular attraction like TRON Lightcycle / Run or Flight of Passage until the very end of the night. As long as you are in line before the park closes, you will be able to ride.

If you are staying at a Disney World hotel, you can get 30 extra minutes of park time by participating in Early Theme Park Entry. Or, if you are staying at a Deluxe Resort, you can take advantage of Extended Evening Hours.

Stop Losing Your Car in the Parking Lot
We have all been there; after a long day in the parks, you head back to the parking lot, and you can’t find your car. Avoid the embarrassment of having to set your car alarm off and instead jot down where you parked before heading in for the day.

You can pin your location in maps on your phone, take a photo of the closest sign, or even use Disney World’s Car Locator in the My Disney Experience app.

Avoiding the waste of time on these five things can help make your trip to Disney World even better. We are always sharing the best Disney World tips and tricks as well as all the latest Disney news, so make sure to continue to follow along with AllEars!
