The BEST Park to End Your Disney World Vacation

Since the Park Pass reservation system was introduced in 2020, Disney World trip planning has become very different.

Instead of being able to decide day of which park you want to visit, with the Park Pass reservation system, you have to reserve your first park of the day in advance, subject to availability. While the reservation system allows you to park hop to any second park after 2PM, it does make it so you need to plan which park you will be in well in advance of your trip. So, we asked our readers on AllEars Facebook which park is the BEST for the last day of your Disney World trip — and we got a variety of answers!

Disney’s Hollywood Studios

While not the most popular answer among our readers, a few comments named Disney’s Hollywood Studios as the best park to end a Disney World trip.

Disney’s Hollywood Studios

The park is home to a few of Disney World’s most popular rides, with attractions such as Tower of Terror and Rise of the Resistance frequently boasting wait times well over an hour.

So, why do some commenters share this is their favorite park to end a trip with? Many of those who answered with Hollywood Studios shared that it’s their top pick when they only half a day to spend in a park for their final day of vacation.

If you are planning to only spend a half day in Hollywood Studios, it may be worth using Genie+ or purchasing an Individual Attraction Selection to be able to get on as many rides as you can within a shorter amount of time.

EPCOT

Why end your trip in EPCOT? Well, according to AllEars readers, it’s the perfect place to spend a late night, getting a full day in at the park with food and rides before heading out the next morning.

EPCOT

EPCOT hosts four festivals throughout the year (the Festival of the Arts, Flower and Garden Festival, Food and Wine Festival, and the Festival of the Holidays), making it a popular spot to enjoy small eats and drinks throughout the day.

Along with fantastic food options, the park is also home to two of the newest rides in Disney World, Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind and Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure. Currently, Cosmic Rewind can be accessed by a virtual queue and as an Individual Attraction Selection, while Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure can be accessed as an Individual Attraction Selection or through a Standby line.

To end your night in EPCOT, you can also enjoy Harmonious through early April, with EPCOT Forever set to take over for the show on April 3rd before a new show is introduced in late 2023.

If you are staying at a deluxe resort and really want to get as much bang for your buck as you can in EPCOT, EPCOT is also a popular park for Extended Evening Hours. Extended Evening Hours allows guests at deluxe resort hotels to stay an extra two hours in select parks on select dates throughout the year. You can check out the entire list of offerings here.

Disney’s Animal Kingdom

Looking for a more low-key last day? That’s a big reason that Disney’s Animal Kingdom was a top choice for our readers for a park to spend the last day of their vacation.

Tree of Life

While the park is home to one of the most popular attractions in Disney World (Flight of Passage in Pandora), the massive park has one of the more overall laid-back atmospheres for guests to enjoy.

Pandora

Whether it’s a ride through Kilimanjaro Safaris, or a chance to sit down and watch Finding Nemo: The Big Blue… and Beyond!, Animal Kingdom is a great pick for those looking to spend a more relaxed last day in Disney World.

Magic Kingdom

While there are upsides and downsides to each and every park, the most popular answer by far from our readers was to spend their last day in Magic Kingdom.

Magic Kingdom

In fact, one of the most frequent answers we saw was from those that choose to both end AND start their Disney World trip in the original Florida park.

Magic Kingdom

The park is home to the most rides of any of the four by far, and for many is the quintessential nostalgia-filled Disney park. After all, what else can beat that first view of Cinderella Castle as you walk down Main Street, U.S.A.?!
