If You Have an Unactivated Annual Pass, You Can Still Reserve Your Spot for a Day in Disney World!

Starting on June 22nd, guests with Disney World Resort hotel reservations, along with a valid theme park ticket, will be able to begin making reservations for park entrance to Disney World. A few days later on June 26th, Annual Passholders without a hotel reservation will be able to make three reservations at a time.

But, what about guests with unactivated Annual Passes?

When we spoke with a Disney World Cast Member, we were told that guests with unactivated Annual Passes will still have access to the Disney Park Pass system.

If you have an Annual Pass that has not yet been activated, you will still be able to use it to make reservations for park entry, where you will then be able to activate your pass prior to entering the park of your choosing. Keep in mind that, at this time, it appears that Disney World has paused the sale of new Annual Passes.

At this time, Disney World Annual Passholders without a reservation will be able to start using the Disney Parks Pass system on June 26th, when they will be able to start making reservations for three days at a time. Alternatively, if you are a Passholder with a reservation at a Disney World Resort hotel, or Disney World partner hotel such as Shades of Green or Disney’s Swan and Dolphin, you will be able to begin making reservations on June 22nd for the length of your stay.

  1. I tried several times yesterday and was not able to make park reservations. We have unactivated passes and 2 DVC reservations, one in September and the other in November.

  2. So if one member of our party has an AP and the other has 4 day tickets, will the AP still not be able to reserve 4 days with the regular ticketed person?

  3. Thank you for confirming what we thought! We have unactivated AP’s linked to our MDE and room reservations. Ready to log on Monday morning June 22nd!
