A big update is happening in EPCOT!
Test Track just recently closed in EPCOT to get a full-scale update! The ride is getting an overhaul that’s partly inspired by its predecessor, World of Motion. But while it’s closed for construction, we’ve noticed an interesting issue.
When looking at the wait times in EPCOT recently, we’ve noticed that many of the “less popular” rides have started to develop longer-than-average wait times. This means that attractions like Journey Into Imagination with Figment and The Seas with Nemo and Friends have been having decent-sized queues recently.
Several of the rides in the front of EPCOT typically have short wait times, and sometimes they’re even walk-ons. So seeing these attractions higher on the wait time list is interesting. The likely cause is the Test Track closure, considering Test Track used to be one of the park’s more popular rides and absorbed a large crowd of people into its queue throughout the day.
So we’ll continue to watch the wait times in EPCOT and see if they’re affected by the closure of this major ride. For now, check out the rest of the wait times from Monday, July 22nd below!
