Goodbye, Magical Express

It’s official — Disney World’s Magical Express has gone away for good, although the last official day the service will run is actually on January 10th, but only to take guests who’ve booked the service from Disney World hotels to the airport. After that, it’s sayonara! The signs at the hotels for the service have been replaced, too, and simply point guests to Airport Transportation.

Mears Connect is currently shuttling guests — for a price — to and from Disney World and the Orlando International Airport, with The Shuttle Flyer beginning services on February 1st.  And rideshare services are also still available for guests.

  1. Frankly, it is disgusting that anyone would pirate Disney+ when you consider that unlike most things Disney, it is quite affordable. I’m not a fan of the somewhat high fee for the few “Newly Released” titles as I have learned patience from waiting in park lines(HaHa). Sadly, the folks who find it their God given right to pirate almost everything online today typically have nothing to lose so I don’t really see an effective remedy for Disney on this matter. Disney’s park pricing has historically “filtered out” low lifes such as these IP Pirates, but now that Disney has gone to the internet, they are exposed to everything out there.
