Disney’s Magical Express is living its final days in Disney World this week.

As of January 1st, 2022, this huge Disney World perk will be officially discontinued, leaving guests to figure out transportation to and from Orlando International Airport on their own. However, today it was confirmed what will happen for trips arriving before January 1st, and leaving after.
Disney’s Magical Express was a free transportation service for Disney World hotel guests, transporting them (and their luggage!) from Orlando International Airport (MCO) right to their Disney hotel and back again. December 31st, 2021 is the official last day of Magical Express operation, but guests will still be able to return on the service through January 10th.

Orlando International Airport announced that while December 31st is the last day the Magical Express will transport guests from the airport to Disney World, it will continue to transport resort guests back to the airport until January 10th. That means you might need to get to your resort on your own, but if you’re leaving before January 10th you can still use Magical Express to get back to the airport!

After January 10th, Disney’s Magical Express will be fully discontinued and guests can choose from transportation options such as rideshare, taxis, car rental, shuttles, private cars, and more, or new services such as Mears Connect and The Sunshine Flyer.

Another stab in the back for people wanting a Disney vacation…they take away benefits…or charge more for things like rooms, tickets etc. and this is supposed to encourage families to save for a Disney vacation? More expensive? Trips fewer and farther between. Which means in the long run Chapek….you’ve lost $$$
Can you guys make a video on all the transportation options and review them? Thank you so much!
