All this week, we have been reporting from the grand REopening of Universal Orlando! As the first major theme park to reopen since mid-March, the past few days have been nothing short of thrilling.

We’ve been on the lookout for everything we can think of to help you plan your next trip to Universal Studios Florida and Islands of Adventure, and today we noticed that rider swap still available to use!
Rider swap is a great tool for families with someone who cannot ride, typically small children who don’t meet the height requirement. Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure has a height requirement of 48″, which is noticeably higher than many other attractions at Universal.

After we went on the ride (because obviously we had to ride it again this week!), we spotted the rider swap queue. The queue has floor markings to keep parties six feet apart, and is taped off to clearly mark where the queue area is.

It is important to note that, for rides with Virtual Lines, all adults looking to ride do still need to join the Virtual Line to be able to use Rider Swap.

If you’re heading to Universal in the coming weeks and you have little ones in your party, keep in mind that rider swap is STILL an option!
