This ride is best at night. The seating and ride set up are old school. It offers great views of tomorrowland and the castle. Best Ariel Carosel in Disney!
Pros:
Great views Thrilling Old school nostalgic seating and ride set upCons:
It seems a little bit faster than dumbo so can induce motion sickness Hard to get in and out of the seatsReviewed by TaraMartin Review Date: 09/24/2024

Always a fav for our family but not ideal for anyone with a fear of heights and it can be difficult for some to get in and out of the rockets.
Pros:
Great Magic Kingdom views, amped up Dumbo style attraction.Cons:
Rockets can be hard to get in and out of, extra high up, brutal loading and unloading process with the elevatorsReviewed by magicalmelanie Review Date: 05/18/2024

Astro Orbiter sits in the hub of Tomorrowland, on top of Auntie Gravity's Galactic Goodies. Although similar to a couple of other attractions in Magic Kingdom, Astro Orbiter soars to new heights, literally. This attraction has a unique loading process which involves a pair of elevators bringing guests up to ride. When taking flight on this ride, you have a view of the park that you can't get anywhere else, but you might find that your rocket isn't too spacious. An adult and child might find the rocket to be comfortable, but if you are thinking of riding with another adult...you won't have a lot of room to work with. I I enjoy riding Astro Orbiter, but it wouldn't be my first pick of attractions in Tomorrowland.
Pros:
Provides a beautiful and unique view of Tomorrowland! (especially at night)Cons:
It can get a little chilly way up there in the colder months! Since the loading process involves an elevator ride, the line can appear to move slower because of the stop-and-go flow of the queue.Reviewed by Anonymous Review Date: 03/04/2024

It’s fun to see the views especially at night
Pros:
You can see most of tomorrow land and Magic Kingdom and I like it more at nightCons:

overall it is an okay ride, There are a few things like the seating that need to be/should be fixed. This ride is not like dumbo, triceratops spin, or the magic carpets of Aladin because it is more thrilling considering that you are much, much higher than those others. The capacity is also terrible.
Pros:
different thrilling viewsCons:
seating capacity can be scary for someReviewed by Anonymous Review Date: 06/13/2023

I enjoyed this very much. I rode it by myself one night before park closed after the extended evening hours. The view was spectacular. However, the seat restraints is just a seatbelt and I did feel a little unsafe for the first few seconds. On that note it’s kinda short and I would not recommend riding this during the day
Pros:
Amazing views of TRON and Tomorrowland, especially at nightCons:
Not the best if you’re scared of heightsReviewed by Anonymous Review Date: 06/20/2022

I think this ride is more thrilling than it looks. The great part about this is it has no height requirement and it’s high up!
