Walt Disney World Railroad

The Walt Disney World Railroad has been closed for a really long time: over 2 years! Construction on TRON: Lightcycle Run is currently blocking its route around the park.

That TRON construction is reportedly delayed, so there’s really no telling when the Railroad’s path could be clear again. We’ll keep you posted on any updates Disney provides!

The Hall of Presidents

We’re seeing a more typical refurbishment over at the Hall of Presidents, which closes each time a new president is elected. Right now, it’s installing an audio-animatronic for President Joe Biden!

Disney World Resort Refurbishments

Let’s take a look at some closures at Disney’s hotels! A huge project over at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort means the entryway, lobby, and monorail station are currently being refurbished. Additionally, the guest rooms are getting a Moana makeover — you’ll be able to stay in them this July, and you can make reservations now!

And at Disney’s Contemporary Resort, the Main Tower Guest Rooms are getting some TLC. You’ll notice scrim has been hung to cover those areas while work is being done.
